First Trailer for Angelina Jolie's Directorial Debut 'In the Land of Blood and Honey'

One week, Angelina Jolie had the flu. So she did what any normal person would do: sit down and pen a screenplay about the horrors of the Bosnian War.

That spurt of dazed creativity became In the Land of Blood and Honey, which Jolie went on to shoot and now, with its first trailer debuting online, stands to be one of the major Oscar contenders at the end of the year.

The film chronicles the romance between a Bosnian couple, Danijel and Lejla, who find themselves separated by war, only to be brought back together when Lejla is taken prisoner and incarcerated at Danijel's POW camp. Heavy stuff, and a look into an aspect of modern history that often goes overshadowed by most. The trailer looks especially stark, not taking reservations in its depiction of violence or emotional outbursts.

In the Land of Blood and Honey could fall either way: a gripping war drama with an honest relationship at its center, or a ham-fisted sap fist that demands our emotional reaction. Here's hoping for the former, as the trailer certainly appears to deliver. Jolie's already broken out as one of the few female stars who can successfully dabble in both serious drama and high octane action—can she do the same behind the camera?

Final Amy Winehouse Album Due in December

Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures has been assembled by producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, and will be comprised of 12 various tracks -- including ones Winehouse was working on at the time of her death on July 23 and previously unreleased songs. The duet between Tony Bennett and Winehouse, released in September, will also be featured.

Milla Jovovich Heats Up Cabo San Lucas

 
Continuing to soak up the sun south of the border, Milla Jovovich was spotted at the Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Wednesday (August 24).

The “Resident Evil” actress rocked a white bikini covered by a colorful beach frock as she cracked a bottle of bubbly while sharing kisses with her director hubby, Paul W.S. Anderson.

Married back on August 22, 2009, the happy couple headed to the beautiful locale a few days back to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.

The trip comes as the Anderson directed/Jovovich starring movie “The Three Musketeers” – which opens in theaters on October 21 - just released their Russian poster, which unsurprisingly features Milla front and center.

Did Will Smith Catch Jada Pinkett-Smith With Marc Anthony?

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett showed no signs of a rocky marriage - so why are there suddenly so many rumors about them breaking up? In Touch, in the issue released today to newsstands, claims that Will caught Jada in his home with Marc Anthony!

A representative for Marc refuted all rumors that he was involved with his HawthoRNe co-star. Yesterday it was reported that Will and Jada have prepared their legal teams to sue the newspaper after hearing about the story and the headline "Two marriages destroyed: Jada steals J.Lo's husband!"

Among other claims from the magazine: Will snuck into the house during the night to surprise his wife, only to discover her with another man. Jada moved out of the house the next day, and Will fired several staff members for covering up the visits from Marc.

"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact," said Will's representative.

Jada's rep chimed in: "All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I'm not commenting on their personal life."

Will's son Trey tweeted his thoughts on the rumors yesterday, as well.
