Scotty MccCreery's debut album will be called Clear As Day, and it'll come out Oct. 4.

The 17-year-old American Idol winner announced the release date during his Good Morning America appearance Friday.

"We've been working hard on this album not only in Nashville, but in studios across the country because I've been on the Idol tour," Scotty says. "We're putting what I believe are the best songs we could find on it and I really hope everyone likes it. The whole experience has been amazing! I love working with my album producer, Mark Bright, and have gotten to work with some of the best musicians in Nashville!"

In a press release about Clear As Day, producer Mark Bright said of Scotty: "His voice is shockingly great. Everybody knows Scotty has a deep voice, but what a lot of people don't know is that he has a pretty high range. His listeners will get to hear the nuances, emotions and actual range of his voice."

A pre-order package available through Scotty's website will include the album, an autographed 8x10 photo (for limited quantity of orders), a personalized poster and an instant download of single I Love You This Big, as well as a chance to enter a sweepstakes for an ultimate Country Music Association Awards experience that includes a meet‐and‐greet with Scotty.
